The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Gordon Earle, Peter Goldring, René Laurin, Pat O'Brien, David Price, George Proud, John Richardson and Bob Wood.
Acting Members present: Janko Peric for Judy Longfield and Karen Redman for David Pratt.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade: David Devine, Acting Director (Procurement); Susan Sheehan, Senior Policy Analyst (Procurement); Richard Lepage; Roger Lucy, Deputy Director. From the Canadian Commercial Corporation: Glenn Nichols, Executive Director.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed a study on Contracting and Procurement.
David Devine made an opening statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:05 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
