MONDAY, MARCH 16, 1998

The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 7:05 o’clock p.m., this day, at Junior Ranks Club in Kingston, Ontario, the Vice-Chair, Bob Wood, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Judi Longfield, David Pratt, David Price and Bob Wood.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a Review of the Social and Economic Challenges Facing Members of the Canadian Forces.

The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.

At 11:40 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
