MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1998


The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 7:15 o’clock p.m., this day, in Building 20, Hall 108, Valcartier, Quebec, the Chair, Robert Bertrand, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Leon Benoit, Robert Bertrand, Judi Longfield, David Pratt and Pierrette Venne.

Other Members present: Pierre de Savoye

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a Review of the Social and Economic Challenges Facing Members of the Canadian Forces.

The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
