The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:00 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Gordon Earle, Peter Goldring, Ghislain Lebel, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, John Richardson and Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: Elsie Wayne for David Price.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner; Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witness: From the Project Ploughshares: Ernie Regehr, Director.
At 9:00 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Contracting and Procurement.
Ernie Regehr made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 10:30 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of its study on Veterans Issues (Merchant Marine).
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of its future business.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
