The Standing Committee on Human Resources and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 8:45 o’clock a.m, this day, in room 200, West Block, the Chair, Reg Alcock, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Reg Alcock, Rob Anders, Carolyn Bennet, Brenda Chamberlain, Libby Davies, Nick Discepola, Christiane Gagnon, Dale Johnston, Larry McCormick, Robert Nault, Stéphan Tremblay and Bryon Wilfert.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study on student aid.
Thomas Townsend, Rubina Ramji, Robert Best, Pierre Killeen, Bill Smith, Kelly Scott, Atim Léon, Dany Gravel, Paul Kitchen, Jocelyn Charron and Katherine Kowalchuk made opening statements and, along with the other witnesses participating in the Round Table, answered questions.
At 10:05 o'clock a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:23 o'clock a.m., the sitting resumed.
The witnesses continued answering questions.
At 12:56 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
