WEDNESDAY, March 25, 1998
The Standing Committee on Health met at 4:29 o’clock p.m., this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Vice-Chair, Elinor Caplan, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Grant Hill, Lynn Myers, Rose-Marie Ur, Maurice Vellacott, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
Acting Member present: Claudette Bradshaw for Claude Drouin.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Nancy Miller-Chenier and Gérald Lafrenière, Research Officers.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of natural health products. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Thursday, November 20, 1997.)

From Nielsen's Homoeopathic Clinic: Josie Lucidi, Advisory Committee; Shoshana Scott, Assistant to Dr. Nielsen. From the Manitoba Naturopathic Association: Dr. Chris Turner, President. From Turtle Island Centre Family Services: Deborah Amey KiiskeeN'tum, Executive Director. As an individual: Frank Walker, Aboriginal Traditional Healer & Solvent Abuse Counselor. From the Opasquiak Cree Nation: Henry Wilson, Counselor; Larry Dorion, Traditional Healers Committee.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
