WEDNESDAY, March 18, 1998

The Standing Committee on Health met at 3:55 o’clock p.m., this day, in

Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Beth Phinney, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Lynn Myers, Pauline Picard, Rose-Marie Ur, Maurice Vellacott, Joseph Volpe.

Acting Members present: Guy St-Julien for Claude Drouin.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Odette Madore and Nancy Miller-Chenier, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of natural health products. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Thursday, November 20, 1997.)

The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
