THURSDAY, March 12, 1998
The Standing Committee on Health met at 9:07 o’clock a.m., this day, in
room 209, West Block, the Chair, Beth Phinney, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Aileen Carroll, Maurice Dumas, Reed Elley, Grant Hill, Pauline Picard, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
Other Members present: Colleen Beaumier.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Odette Madore, Nancy Miller-Chenier and Gérald Lafrenière, Research Officers.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of natural health products. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Thursday, November 20, 1997.)

Ingles, President; Jennine Ingles-Rothblott, Director of Medical Research. From Maharishi Ayur-Veda Products of Canada: Russell C. Guest, Director; Dr. Richard Wolfson, Director, Maharishi Ayur-Veda College.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
