The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-food met at 9:09 a.m, this day, in Room 269, West Block, Joe McGuire, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Paul Bonwick, Murray Calder, Jean-Guy Chrétien, Odina Desrochers, John Harvard, Larry McCormick, Joe McGuire and Rose-Marie Ur.

Acting Member present: John McKay for Denis Coderre.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch: Sonya Dakers, Research Coordinator.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to examine the mandate, management and operation of the Canadian Dairy Commission.

Witnesses: From the Canadian Dairy Commission: Guy Jacob, Chairman.

Guy Jacob made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 10:58 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
