The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 9:35 o'clock a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Bldg., the Chairman, Jim Peterson, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Barry Campbell, Herb Grubel, Yvan Loubier, Jim Peterson, Brent St. Denis and Monte Solberg.

Acting Members present: Jack Anawak for Dianne Brushett, Francis LeBlanc for Jane Stewart.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Richard Domingue and Marion Wrobel, Research Officers. From the Committees and Parliamentary Associations Directorate: Pierre Rodrigue.

In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 83.1, the Committee continued its pre-budget consultations (See Minutes of Proceedings dated September 19, 1995, Issue No. 111).

The Committee considered its draft report.

It was agreed, - That the draft report be adopted as the twenty-fourth report of the Committee.

It was ordered, - That the Committee print 1,500 copies in English and 100 in French, of the twenty-fourth report.

It was agreed, - That the Committee authorize the printing of dissenting opinions of the Bloc Québécois and the Reform Party as an appendix to this report, immediately following the signature of the Chair;

- That the dissenting opinions not exceed 10 pages;

-That the dissenting opinions be submitted to the Clerk in both official languages.

At 09:38 o'clock a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
