On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the committee adopted a motion that:
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the committee undertake a study of Canada’s electricity grid and network, to understand inter provincial tie-ins and gaps, opportunities, and challenges to improve electrical production and distribution across Canada; invite experts and government officials to provide testimony, and the committee hold no fewer than seven meetings for that purpose; and that the committee report its findings and recommendations to the House and that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the government table a comprehensive response to the report.
