Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and recommendations contained in its report Taking Care of Small Business (October 1994) and documents released with the 1995-96 Budget, the Committee resumed consideration of a study with the major banks to devise performance benchmarks for small business financing, in particular, the establishment of quarterly reports by the major banks and financial institutions to review their performance, in this area.
